Undersized they battled on but after a few minutes of play Loughborough were in the lead 18-1 having not missed a shot. At the end of the 1st quarter, Edinburgh managed to make some baskets which got them into the game a bit more. They managed to win second quarter 13-11 and played hard to stay with the strong Loughborough side but failed to get closer then 10 points. Coach, Bart Sengers said, “the 7 players we had really fought hard and I am happy with the way we played after the tough start. Definitely something to take positives on and move forward.” The final score was 55-68 to Loughborough
W2 won their second BUCS game of the season with a score of 52-35. It was a tough start to the game against Napier University with one of their key players, Murron Marr falling on her ankle. Thankfully, she managed to get back in the game despite her injury and still scored 16 points. By half time, Edinburgh University were up by 34-17 and took the win with a final score of 52-35. Although they managed to steal the win, the team needs to work over the next few training sessions and build over the next couple of games
