W1: The W1s got their first win of the season away to Newcastle. They stayed on top throughout despite some early foul trouble and came away with a win. Final score 80-63

W2: Our women’s second team had a tough loss against Stirling University. They fought hard for the entire game working hard as a team to push through and run and clean offense in a very physical game. The final score was 48-61.

W3: Our women’s third team didn’t have a game this week but will be playing next week against Glasgow Caledonian University.

M1: Our men’s first team had an amazing win against Heriot-Watt University. The guys held onto their early lead the whole game and ended with an 80-48 win.

M2: This week the M2’s traveled to Glasgow Uni, this time with the majority of the team. Once again the 2s came out the gates hot with Noah Rockwood once again taking control of the game and playing it at his pace. The second quarter saw a swing in momentum as Glasgow Uni started to find their rhythm and the ball began to drop for them as they went into the half with a 13 point lead. Glasgow came out of the half aggressively, looking to pressurise the Edinburgh ball handlers. The turnovers this generated allowed them to extend their lead comfortably. Glasgow had also scored 15 three-pointers. Final score Glasgow 95-63

M3: Our men’s third team had an extremely physical game against Strathclyde University’s second team. Although they battled hard the whole game and kept the score within a few points right up until the end, Strathclyde pulled ahead at the end with a final score of 48-60.
