Our Mens 2nd Team currently compete in the Scottish 2A BUCS league. The team was promoted from division 3A at the end of the 2014/15 season. In 2015/16, Mens 2nds won the Scottish Conference Cup and came 2nd in their Scottish 2A BUCS league.

The team are currently coming first in their league, 2016/2017.

The Mens 2nd Team is coached by Dale Gilmour and Connor Sharp. This is Dale’s third year of coaching this team. At the age of 16, he started to coach the Under 10’s at City of Edinburgh as well as coaching the Thomas of Aquins RC high school team. While being a fourth year student studying Biological Sciences (Immunology) at Edinburgh University, he is also a referee which gives him the chance to learn things by being able to watch certain schemes that other coaches are running in Scotland.

This is Connors 2nd year as Associate Head Coach with the team. Connor has 4 years of coaching experience. Durng the summer of 2016, he was able to coach at Achara Basketball camp where he got to work with a team of great coaches and some of Scotland’s top young players. Connor Sharp studies Sport and Recreation Management at Edinburgh University and is currently in his second year.

Team captain of the 2016/17 Mens 2nd Team is Andrew Hobson. Followed by team representative, Connor Sharp.
